I’m a writer, poet, vegan chef, green activist and full-time paid business communications professional. I love punk, dance and trance, rock and roll and swing, dancing all night and on my own in the daytime. I’m into gardening, art, books and music, cycling, nature, sustainability and travelling. I’m a good laugh and a bit shy. I’m queer, vegan-ish, anti-capitalist and a dad to two amazing young men.
Why did I get involved with In Common? Well, I was interviewed by Sally Churchward three years ago (I ran a half marathon with a group called CURB to highlight the problem of “waste” food in supermarkets). We kept loosely in touch and I leapt at the chance to write about the places, people and things that inspire and entrance me!
