Teenage Waitress – a Rock n Roll Powerpoint on Songs, comes to the Railway, Winchester

Southampton’s Daniel J Ash, who writes and records solo music under the project name Teenage Waitressis putting on a special gig with a twist on in Winchester on April 26.
He explains: “As a songwriter of quite a few years, and a lecturer in songwriting at the University of Winchester, I decided to write a one-man show, which plays out like a “rock and roll” PowerPoint presentation. There are songs, stories behind the songs and lots of geeky information about how the songs were written and memories attached to them.
“It’s a fun little show that’ll hopefully offer something a bit different. I’m only doing two performances of this show, one in Brighton and one in Winchester. Then the material will be coming out in the form of a book about songwriting, this winter.”
TEENAGEWAITRESS.PPT is a playful blend of storytelling and music. In the show Daniel discusses and performs happy songs, sad songs, long songs, short songs, very short songs, stupid songs, love songs, duet songs, murder songs, song songs, and just about everything and anything in-between.
