Audiences are invited to an evening with former Chief Political Correspondent, John Sergeant, at Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 10 July.
This evening of funny and thought-provoking conversation will see one of Britain’s most popular and respected broadcasters sharing anecdotes and recollections from his career.
As a former ITN Political Editor, John Sergeant’s award-winning career saw him interviewing the likes of Prime Ministers Margaret Thatcher, John Major and Tony Blair – but he is also known for his appearances on light entertainment shows such as The One Show, Have I Got News For You, QI, and Room 101, plus, Strictly Come Dancing – where he was consistently at the bottom of the judges’ scoreboard!
Sergeant has also starred in a number of documentaries including Tracks of Empire – about the Indian Railways; and is the author of the bestselling and acclaimed memoir, Give Me Ten Seconds – chronicling his childhood and service with the BBC; and Maggie: Her Fatal Legacy – analysing Margaret Thatcher’s career and legacy.
