Play to the Crowd announces 2025 charity prize draw

Play to the Crowd – the arts and education charity that runs Theatre Royal Winchester, Hat Fair and Playmakers – has announced a new summer prize draw – with the chance to win a luxury break on the island of Malta.

The exclusive prize holiday includes five nights bed & breakfast for two people at the AX Odycy Malta – a 4-star hotel with stunning sea views in the vibrant coastal town of Qawra – with return flights also included.

The prize comes courtesy of Kuoni who recently renewed their support of Play to the Crowd as the charity’s strategic Partner of Hat Fair 2025 and donated the holiday as part of a new one-year agreement, with the kind association of Maltese hotel company, AX Hotels.

Entrants will also have the chance to win a cosy and picturesque weekend retreat for two with Meon Valley Shepherd Huts; a Bed & Breakfast overnight stay for two at Winchester Royal Hotel ,in the heart of the city, and a luxury cut and finish with a stylist at Haringtons Hairdressing, whose most local salon is situated on the edge of The Square.

The aim of the prize draw is to raise vital funds for Play to the Crowd, the charity that runs Theatre Royal Winchester, Hat Fair and their year-round creative participation programme, Playmakers.

Supporting the prize draw will help tackle loneliness, poor mental health and social isolation, fight for creative opportunities in schools and make sure everyone can access the arts in our community. Every donation will bring people together through live performance and creativity – ensuring culture stays open to all, not just some.

Play to the Crowd’s Crowdfunder UK Prize Draw is now live and people can enter online by visiting playtothecrowd2025, where there is more information as well as terms and conditions. The prize draw closes on Thursday 11 September 2025 at 23:59 BST.
