Amongst those present was John Jess, aged 81, from Southampton. He said: “ This was such a great event with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. There was a good selection of foods on offer, some amazing music and it was great to see the new Lord Mayor.”
The event was vibrant and colourful and really showcased what diversity and a mix of cultures can bring to the city. This is a great celebration and definitely one that is now family placed on the event calendar for the city. If you missed it this time, make sure to look out for it next year.
