Children and their grown ups are invited to celebrate Spot’s Birthday Party at Theatre Royal Winchester from Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 July 2025..
Spot invites little ones aged 2+ and their families to join him and his friends, Steve the Monkey, Tom the Crocodile, Helen the Hippo, Sally and Sam, and Spot’s parents, for the best birthday party ever, featuring integrated Makaton, catchy songs, dancing and plenty of interactive party games.
This brand-new adaptation is based on author and illustrator, Eric Hill’s beloved children’s classic, Happy Birthday Spot and is the perfect introduction to theatre for children. Plus, everyone with a ticket gets a free party hat to get into the party spirit and there’s also the chance to meet Spot after the show, making it a great day out.
Spot’s Birthday Party is brought to the stage by the same people behind comedy actor, writer and TV personality, David Walliams’ Mr Stink – Sam Bradshaw Productions, with words and songs by the internationally acclaimed, award-winning director and writer, Guy Unsworth – who has also worked on productions of Miss Saigon and My Fair Lady, and was part of the creative team behind the Queen’s 90th Birthday Celebrations.
Spot’s Birthday Party will be at Theatre Royal Winchester from Tuesday 22 to Thursday 24 July at various times. For more information, or to book tickets, visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
