Classic rock ‘n’ roll fans will be delighted to learn of a celebration of American music when Buddy Holly and the Cricketers comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Tuesday 29 July.
Featuring raw rock ‘n’ roll and haunting ballads, five amazingly talented young actor-musicians take to the stage to play live – with energetic performances and genuinely hilarious moments the audience will relish.
Celebrating the American singer/songwriter – whose hits included Everyday, That’ll Be The Day, Peggy Sue and Oh Boy!– and his rock and roll band, the act performing have thrilled audiences around the world – from Dundee to Dubai, Swansea to Sweden and more.
Buddy Holly and the Cricketers is brought to the stage by Simon Fielder Productions whose previous shows have included talks with sporting heroes and TV stars.
Described as ‘Buddy brilliant’ by BBC One’s Graham Norton and a ‘tremendous night out’ by the Kent and Sussex Courier, Buddy Holly and the Cricketers is guaranteed to have audiences singing to the music and dancing in the aisles.
Following the performance, there will be a post-show meet and greet.
