Careering Through Time: A Solve-Along-Railway Adventure!

Careering Through Time: A Solve-Along-Railway Adventure!

The Point is set to be part of Eastleigh Borough’s very first Walking and Wheeling Festival, presenting Careering through time: A Solve-along-Railway Adventure at Royal Victoria Country Park, Netley, on Thursday 14 August from 10:20am.

Eastleigh Borough Council has partnered with Hampshire County Council to fund Sustrans, the walking and cycling charity, to provide an amazing programme of over 30 walks across 30 days!

Inspiring people’s everyday journeys and connecting them to their local area and green spaces, local organisations and artists are providing led and self-led routes to explore by foot, wheelchair and mobility aid with a range of themes, lengths, locations and access needs.

The event is also part of South Western Railway’s Railway 200 celebration of 200 years of railways in the UK.

Careering Through Time is a playful interactive walking theatre adventure for all the family!  It is a time-travelling mission along the Hamble Rail Trail, where the conductor needs your help to solve puzzles and set things right on Hamble’s only fantastical railway line!

The Trail is perfect for families, train fans, and theatre lovers, as this free promenade performance is packed with storytelling, fun challenges, and plenty of surprises.
