Preview: MANIA: The ABBA Tribute, Theatre Royal Winchester

ABBA fans waxed lyrical about MANIA: The ABBA Tribute when the show came to Theatre Royal Winchester last year so they will be thrilled to learn that it returns this autumn with performances on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 September.

MANIA: The ABBA Tribute – which comes direct from London’s West End – is accepted as the world’s number one ABBA tribute show – following more than 3,000 live concerts played in over 35 countries and Sky News saying ‘Close your eyes and it could have been ABBA’.

Created in 1999, this award-winning concert celebrates the Swedishpop group’s most memorable anthems beloved by millions of fans, old and new, around the world – including the likes of Mamma Mia, Dancing Queen, Winner Takes It All, and more.

The production, which presents the music in a respectful way and features stunning visuals, takes audiences back to a time when ABBA ruled the airwaves and won the Eurovision Song Contest with the iconic Waterloo in 1974.

This is a night not to be missed – an excuse for a party, a chance to reminisce, or simply be entertained.

MANIA: The ABBA Tribute will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 September at 7.30pm. For more information, or to book tickets, visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
