Preview: Rat Pack Live, Theatre Royal Winchester

Cool cats are invited to a night celebrating stars Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jnr. when Rat Pack Live comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Sunday 14 September.

The show is a tribute, which combines the charisma and swagger of the trio – known as The Rat Pack, and the definition of cool in the Fifties and Sixties – with the full sound of big band swing. It is an evening that echoes the patter and razzamatazz of the stars’ live shows.

Described as the UK’s most authentic Rat Pack concert experience, Rat Pack Live revives all-time greats such as New York, New York, That’s Amore, My Way, That’s Life, and more.

Frank Sinatra was the American singer and actor nicknamed Ol’ Blue Eyes who starred in films High Society, Guys and Dolls and Oceans 11; Dean Martina singer, actor and comedian known for Some Came Running, Airport and Kiss Me, Stupid; while Sammy Davis Jnr. was the all-round entertainer, including dancer and musician, who appeared in Porgy and Bess and Robin and the 7 Hoods.

Rat Pack Live will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Sunday 14 September at 7.30pm. For more information, or to book tickets, visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
