Fans of the classic whodunnit are invited to solve a murder mystery with a twist when Locomotive for Murder: The Improvised Whodunnit comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 10 October.

Locomotive for Murder tells the story of four characters who board a train and of course, an inevitable demise! Fortunately, a world-famous detective is onboard, ready to solve the case – but with the help of the audience – as only one person in the show actually knows who committed the murder – the murderer themselves!

Locomotive for Murder is an entirely improvised murder mystery where killing the cast and cracking the case are in the hands of the audience. Pinch Punch – the improv comedy group, based in London and Wales, behind the show – must use audience stories and suggestions to create a one-of-kind whodunnit for the night, before the audience then try and unmask the killer. With only one person onstage knowing who the murderer is – the murderer themselves – the audience are at risk of winning or losing the case.

Audiences should expect shaky alibis and silver-tongued sleuths, comedic murder and violence, audience participation, innuendo and occasional bad language.

Locomotive for Murder: The Improvised Whodunnit will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 10 October at 7.30pm. For more information, or to book tickets, visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
