Hampshire-based housebuilder, Bargate, is once again bringing festive cheer to Southampton as the proud local sponsor of this year’s highly anticipated Christmas pantomime at Mayflower Theatre, The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan.
The award-winning developer has committed to being local sponsors for the second consecutive year, having proudly supported last year’s pantomime – Jack and the Beanstalk. Some of the team from Bargate and Mayflower’s Events and Sponsorship Manager, met the cast earlier this month at Mayflower Theatre’s official pantomime launch day.
This magical production, featuring Alexandra Burke, Dr Ranj and Max Fulham, will bring all the laughter, spectacle, special effects and glittering festive magic audiences have come to expect each year from Mayflower Theatre’s spectacular Christmas panto.
The production will run from 13 December 2025, to 4 January 2026. Tickets are flying, so customers are urged to book early to avoid disappointment.
“We are delighted that Bargate have once again invested in our magical pantomime spectacular which is produced by the world’s biggest producer Crossroads Pantomimes,” says Michael Ockwell, Chief Executive of Mayflower. “Bargate’s generous sponsorship of this year’s production helps us to provide inspiring experiences to Southampton audiences and the next generation of theatregoers.”
“Pantomime is all about magic, laughter and the joy of never quite growing up,” adds Mark White, Managing Director of Bargate. “And that’s why it means so much to us to support Mayflower Theatre’s Christmas tradition.
“Our focus at Bargate is on creating homes and communities where memories can be made, just as this year’s The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan brings families together for an unforgettable adventure. We’re thrilled to continue our sponsorship and play our part in keeping this festive spirit alive for Southampton.”
Bargate is constructing six new residential developments across Hampshire, including Heritage Place at North Stoneham Park in Eastleigh, Rivercross, Herons Quarter, Marlow Walk and Admirals Green in Warsash, and its latest community coming soon, Shepherds Green in Hordle, The New Forest.
Tickets for The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan (Saturday 13 December 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026) are on sale at mayflower.org.uk or 02380 711811.
