Mayflower (Mayflower Theatre and Mayflower Studios) launches the first episode of Mayflower Spotlights Podcast, a brand-new podcast that aims to shine a light on stories both on and beyond the stage.
The first episode, released on Wednesday 8 October, features stars of Mayflower Theatre’s pantomime – The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan; Alexandra Burke and Dr Ranj, alongside Michael Ockwell, Chief Executive of Mayflower.

The next podcast episode will drop 5 November. Each episode will offer a mix of show-based interviews, highlights from Mayflower’s impact work, and a peek into the parts of Mayflower that audiences don’t usually get to hear about, including more about their charity status.
As a registered charity, surplus revenue from ticket sales and charitable donations goes to fund innovative, ambitious and inclusive community and education projects, to attract widespread interest and support from the performing arts sector with the aim to be creative hubs and centres of excellence for culture in Southampton and to preserve and maintain our venues for the community.
Spotlights will put untold stories centre stage alongside exciting interviews from cast members and creatives of shows as well as shining a spotlight on the dedicated individuals who make Mayflower so special.
Mayflower Spotlights Podcast can be listened to on Spotify, Apple or watched on YouTube, all available here.
