Following a record-breaking festive season in 2024, Mayflower has once again got another festive season lined up, with a variety of performances at Mayflower Theatre and Mayflower Studios.

The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe (Tuesday 18 – Saturday 22 November 2025)
Step through the wardrobe into the magic kingdom of Narnia where a world of wonder awaits. Join Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter as they meet new friends, face dangerous foes and learn the lessons of courage, sacrifice, and the power of love.
Watch the nation’s favourite novel The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe come to life on stage in this spectacular production which is guaranteed to delight all ages.
A Fairytale for Christmas (Sunday 23 November 2025)
After multiple sell out tours, the ultimate Irish-inspired Christmas concert is back with an even bigger production for 2025. From the producers of Seven Drunken Nights – The Story of The Dubliners, immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Irish culture as our talented singers, musicians and dancers perform a world class concert featuring all the festive favourites including Driving Home for Christmas, Step Into Christmas, Oh Holy Night and, The Fairytale of New York.

English National Ballet: The Sleeping Beauty (Wednesday 26 – Saturday 29 November 2025)

Step Into Christmas (Sunday 30 November 2025)
This Christmas feel-good show brings all the magic of the season to life, with all your favourite songs you will know and love. Including All I Want for Christmas Is You, Last Christmas, Jingle Bell Rock, Stay Another Day, Let it Snow, White Christmas, Do They Know it’s Christmas, A Winter’s Tale, Merry Xmas Everybody, and many more!
Stick Man (Tuesday 2 – Saturday 6 December 2025)
Touching, funny and utterly original, Freckle Productions’ delightful adaptation of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s Stick Man is back in town!What starts off as a morning jog becomes quite the misadventure for Stick Man: a dog wants to play fetch with him, a swan builds a nest with him, and he even ends up on a fire! How will Stick Man ever get back to the family tree?
This award-winning production, from the team behind Zog and Zog and the Flying Doctors, features a trio of top actors and is packed full of puppetry, songs, live music and funky moves.
Festive Wreath Making Workshops (Thursday 4 & Monday 8 December 2025)
Begin the session with a freshly brewed coffee or speciality tea and a slice of cake before creating your own beautiful festive wreath – the perfect way to dress your front door or dining table this December.
Guided by Jessie Anderson Studio, a Winchester-based wedding and events florist with over 8 years of experience, you’ll craft a gorgeous moss-based wreath, filled with seasonal, scented foliage, colourful leaves, rosehips, ferns, and dried flower stems. To finish, add a luxurious velvet bow in the colour of your choice.

Counting Down to Christmas (Friday 5 – Wednesday 24 December 2025)
Mayflower Southampton present Counting Down to Christmas, a show made especially for very young audiences.
It’s nearly Christmas, but Ebbie doesn’t care. They’re far too busy to bother with decorations, Christmas shopping is such a fuss, and they don’t even like mince pies! But when a mysterious envelope is posted through Ebbie’s letterbox, it’s the start of a series of events that will change how Ebbie feels about Christmas forever. With original music, colourful design and sensory elements, Counting Down to Christmas is full of surprises and festive magic.
The Overtones Christmas Party (Wednesday 10 December 2025)
Get ready for the festive event of the season as the UK’s no.1 vocal harmony group takes to the stage with their signature blend of smooth vocals, infectious energy and synchronised dance moves.

The Pantomime Adventures of Peter Pan (Saturday 13 December 2025 – Sunday 4 January 2026)
In a flash and with a twinkle of fairy dust, the Mayflower’s iconic stage magically transforms into Neverland for our most breath-taking, thrilling seasonal spectacular yet.
Prepare for an unforgettable adventure as Alexandra Burke stars as the villainous Captain Hook, with Dr Ranj as The Magical Merman, and ventriloquist and comedian Max Fulham as Smee. Rhiannon Chesterman joins the production as Wendy Darling, Noah Harrison, will play Peter Pan and Carly Joan Furlong is Tink.

A Christmas Carol (Sunday 21 – Wednesday 31 December 2025)
“Bah! Humbug! What reason have you to be merry?”
Here’s a great one… featuring a cast of 50 young performers, this vibrant tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and one unforgettable night comes vividly to life in a festive musical that will delight families this Christmas. A Christmas Carol is a classic that will take you on a journey of discovery and leave you feeling uplifted- the perfect way to get you into the Christmas spirit.
