Cranking up the festive cheer across the UK – including dates in Portsmouth, Bournemouth and Salisbury – is That’ll Be Christmas, Prestige Productions’ latest edition of the smash-hit tour That’ll Be The Day.
Following their monumental 40th anniversary autumn outing, That’ll Be Christmas is the gift that keeps giving, taking audiences on a rockin’ sleigh ride through favourite festive hits from the past and present.
Immerse in the Christmas spirit as That’ll Be Christmas will deliver a glowing line-up of holiday classics, including Rockin Around the Christmas Tree, Step into Christmas, Driving Home for Christmas, Last Christmas and many more.
Created and performed by the iconic Trevor Payne, alongside an incredible ensemble of first-class vocalists, this merry production combines their time-tested formula of phenomenal tribute to well-adored anthems whilst sprinkling in laugh-out-loud comedy sketches – all wrapped up in a festive bow.
Eager to keep the celebrations going after their Ruby Anniversary, That’ll Be Christmas offers audiences a dazzling evening of music, comedy and holiday cheer guaranteed to lift spirits this Christmas.
The show has a winning formula of Christmas songs and songs that were hits over Christmas’s past and is cleverly presented in small production pieces throughout. Whether that be Juke Box Jury or a Top Of The Pops countdown, everything feels wonderfully authentic and the show is so fast paced that there’s definitely no danger of getting bored!
“There is nothing like That’ll Be The Day’s Christmas show,” explains creator and performer, Trevor Payne. “It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s festive and guaranteed to put you in the spirit of the season. It’s the complete Christmas package show for all the family. Don’t miss it!”
That’ll Be The Day has raised over £1million for Childline, Make A Wish, Help for Heroes, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation and numerous appeals, including the Red Cross Ukraine Appeal, through post-show bucket collections.
