New show ‘DEATH* by PowerPoint’ comes to Southampton for one night only

Local theatre-maker Liam Gifford brings funny, earnest exploration of life, death and the taxing slides in-between to Southampton for one night only.

Born out of a childhood nightmare and a lifetime of reflection, DEATH* by PowerPoint is a unique one-person performance in which the performer, Liam Gifford, explores fear of death, what comes next, and how humour and wonder intertwine in facing the inevitable.

Armed with nothing but a laptop, a projector, and the most exhausting medium of all (PowerPoint), Liam sets about seeing if he can finally make peace with the one human experience guaranteed to come to us all. The result is part stand-up, part confessional, and entirely unforgettable.

Perfect for audiences seeking theatre that is bold, reflective and entertaining, the show comes to The Stage Door, Southampton on Wednesday 12 November.

Audiences have said the show tackles one of life’s most universal questions – death – in a fresh, engaging, and surprisingly humorous way.

It’s a rare mix of honest vulnerability and comic relief – addressing the subject of death with a light but probing touch.
