An independent festive market celebrating local creativity will return to Southampton’s Old Town this December. It’s the perfect place to buy unique, handcrafted gifts from independent artists to share with your loved ones this Christmas.

The Winter Makers Market 2025 will take place at God’s House Tower and Zest Collective’s Studios, Tower House, on the first two weekends of December.

More than 100 independent artists and makers will take part, offering a wide range of handcrafted gifts, original artwork, ceramics, jewellery and homeware. Entry is free and no booking is required.

The event is organised across two venues. At God’s House Tower, visitors can browse stalls, enjoy festive food and drink in the café bar, and meet local creatives. Next door, the ZEST Collective will host Buffet, an exhibition showcasing work by its studio artists alongside stalls from other local makers.

Each weekend will feature a different line-up of artists, giving visitors the chance to discover something new on every visit. The market is suitable for all ages.

The Winter Makers Market offers a chance to support local artists, find unique Christmas gifts, and enjoy the festive atmosphere in one of Southampton’s most historic settings.
