Review: Tink! A Festive Neverland Fairytale, The Point Theatre, Eastleigh, 13 December 2025

By Melanie Adams.

We’re all looking for that extra little bit of fairy-dust to sprinkle over the festive season for our little ones.

So a trip to The Point this Christmas should definitely be on your list.

Their seasonal offering this December is a unique re-imagination of the J.M.Barrie classic, Peter Pan but this time told from the perspective of his magical and feisty friend, Tinkerbell.

Because as you learn in the show, if you want the truth behind a story, ask a fairy as there’s a reason they call them fairytales.

Tink! A Festive Neverland Fairytale gives the audience an insight into the world of the Lost Boys and explains why she was never going to be best friends with Wendy.

She shares tales of her rollercoaster relationship with Peter and how, despite their ups and downs, their bond could never truly be broken.

It’s a cleverly staged show, that takes you from the London bedroom of the Darling siblings, past the third star from the right and straight into the adventures of Neverland.

The cast is an excellent mix of professional, community and young actors, bringing the story to life with laughter and music throughout.

It was the first professional performance for Jude Peters who played Peter Pan.

He reminded me of a young Rik Mayall, playing a Drop Dead Fred-style character that instantly won fans in the audience.

My five-year-old was totally engrossed during the battles between Peter and his arch nemesis, Captain Hook and couldn’t stop giggling at the gassy pirates!

There was also skilful puppetry throughout that added extra magic to the story written and directed by Charlotte Cassey.

It is an enchanting musical adventure with a hint of festive charm, that is sure to get everyone smiling this Christmas.

It has a run of 22 shows, so make sure you don’t miss out.

Tickets start from just £14 and are at on sale at The Point Theatre, or by calling the Box Office on 023 8065 2333.
