The Point has revealed The Frog Princess: A Festive Adventure as its professional Christmas production for 2026, from Saturday 12 to Monday 28 December 2026
The brand-new show marks the third festive collaboration between The Point and The House of Many Moons, following the huge success of TINK! A Festive Neverland Fairytale in 2025 and continuing the tradition of imaginative, family-friendly storytelling.
Flora is a Princess – until her father is wrongly accused, stripped of his title, and imprisoned. Sent to live with her enchanting Aunt Isadora, Flora’s life changes forever.
On Christmas Eve, a letter arrives from Jude, a Prince in a neighbouring land. His home is in peril, and he needs Flora’s help. But when a magical mishap turns Flora into a frog, her rescue mission takes an unexpected twist!
Can Frog Flora save the Prince?
Will she return to her human form—or remain a frog forever?
And can she solve it all before Christmas Day?
“We are so excited to bring audiences another magical festive adventure,” says artistic director, Charlotte Cassey: “After the incredible response to TINK! last year, we knew we wanted to continue creating original stories full of wonder, music, and sparkle.
“The Frog Princess is a tale of courage, friendship, and transformation, and we can’t wait to share it with families this Christmas.”
Presented by The Point and The House of Many Moons, this imaginative tale is brought to life with original songs, dazzling design, and plenty of festive sparkle.
If you can’t wait that long to experience the story of courageous Princess Flora, who sets off on a mission to save her friend that doesn’t quite go to plan, The Point Youth Theatre will be presenting a 1 hour version of The Princess and the Frog at Easter on Friday 3 – Saturday 4 April 2026.
Tickets can be booked for all shows online: www.thepointeastleigh.co.uk or call the box office team on 023 8065 2333.
