Preview: John Kearns: Tilting At Windmills, Theatre Royal Winchester

Fans of the Channel 4 show Taskmaster will be excited to learn that featured comedian, John Kearns, takes to the stage with his brand-new show, Tilting At Windmills, at Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 25 March.

The double Edinburgh Comedy Award winner’s new stand-up show is a fragmented, digressing portrayal of a 38-year-old man’s life, alluding to books he hasn’t read, touching upon the modern condition. Tilting At Windmills is for anyone who has read about but not committed to the Guinness Nitrosurge.

John Kearns – who has been described as delivering ‘richly, idiosyncratic comedy’ (The Guardian) – is an internationally acclaimed comic with TV appearances including Live at the Apollo (BBC), 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown (Channel 4), Never Mind the Buzzcocks (Sky); a BBC Radio 4 production, Lasties, which he co-wrote and starred in; hosting and guesting on numerous radio shows during Edinburgh Fringe; and much more to his name.

John Kearns: Tilting At Windmills will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 25 March at 7.30pm. Recommended age: 16+. For more information, or to book tickets, visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
