Preview: Matt Forde: Defying Calamity, Theatre Royal Winchester

Fans of political satire can enjoy an evening with comedian Matt Forde when he comes to Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 9 April.

Matt Forde’s biggest live tour to date, Defying Calamity, sees the leading political comedian and satirist find positivity in life, despite all the evidence to the contrary in politics and his own health.

Forde is known for writing and voicing characters for the critically acclaimed satirical TV puppet show, Spitting Image (Britbox/ITV), and for his appearances on the likes of comedy quiz shows, Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week (both BBC), as well as co-hosting the award-winning podcast, British Scandal – which explores the stories behind the scandals, and Forde’s own podcast, The Political Party, during which he interviews renowned politicians and experts.
