On Saturday a Peace Protest for Palestine will be held in Southampton city centre (18/4/26).
The event is organised by Southampton Palestine Solidarity Campaign, and will take place from noon, with protesters gathering in the Guildhall Square before marching to the Bargate and back, for speeches.
They said: “despite the ‘ceasefire’, Israel is still killing Palestinians and blocking aid.”
More than 75,000 people have been killed in Gaza since the war began. Since the ‘ceasefire’, Israel has killed at least 677 and injured at least 1,800 further Palestinians, with Israeli air strikes averaging around 10 per day.
