Hampshire songwriter Felix Green is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most exciting artists to watch, and having been handpicked to make a performance, he will be appearing at the British Grand Prix.
His performance takes place this Friday (3/7/26), at 5.30pm, as part of the F1Tracks: Discovery. The initiative launched in 2023, dedicated to championing new original talent, by driving their music direct to global F1 fans. It also sets the tempo for weekend headline performances by David Guetta, Richard Ashcroft, Chase and Status and James Arthur, in the 55,000 capacity Silverstone arena, providing entertainment outside of the main event.
Felix released his debut single, Dirty Cigarette, in September 2025, and follow-up Rolling Of The Dice, achieved considerable sports links, including spots on Match of the Day and an Artist Of The Week slot on Talk Sports. It was played on more than 50 key UK radio stations, and he recently featured as Artist Of The Week on BBC Introducing Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight.
The latest single Forgot To Love You, is a deeply personal tale of loss and regret, and Felix, whose influences include Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye and The Isley Brothers, has this to say about it: “ I wrote this quite early on in my writing journey over Zoom because, at the time, my producer was living in France. It came from the experience of losing someone close to me and I wanted to highlight the feeling you get when you wish you’d said a lot more and end up feeling regret, even though you enjoyed the time you had together.”
Felix’s journey began behind the recording desk as a student, unexpectedly during his music production lectures in Bristol, when a last-minute gap in a session led to him sing for the first time in front of his peers. His talent was immediately recognised, and word quickly began to spread about this exciting new find.
In the following months, his voice began to evolve into a gritty, soulful style, and along with storytelling that reveals a contemporary depth, he has created a sound that feels fresh, and sits alongside artists such as Hoozier, Sam Fender and Chris Stapleton.
