There’s a huge range of stuff going on in and around Southampton this week, from a vegan market to the very entertaining but also very adult immersive theatrical experience that is the stage version of Trainspotting (read more here).
There’s loads of live music, including MF Robots at The Condorde in Eastleigh (read more here), Soul Asylum and Everclear at The 1865 Southampton tonight and further afield, The Kaiser Chiefs are at the BIC in Bournemouth (click here for an interview with the band).
Other highlights include an author talk from Southampton’s very own celebrity chef Shelina Permalloo at October Books in Portswood (read more here) and the launch of the final Knit the Walls exhibition at God’s House Tower (click here for a feature).
We’ve barely scratched the surface, so get yourself a cup of tea, sit down and spend a few minutes reading through the full listings, compiled by our friends over at Shop Local Southampton. Whether you’re looking for a pub quiz, a toddler group, or an emo club night, this is the place to find it: shoplocalsouthampton.com
