Preview: Nothing Happens (Twice) at Theatre Royal Winchester

Slapstick and Beckett in Nothing Happens (Twice), come to Theatre Royal Winchester this month as a pick your price show from Little Soldier Productions.

Fans of slapstick and physical comedy will rejoice at the hilarious Nothing Happens (Twice), at Theatre Royal Winchester on Wednesday 19 April.

It tells the story of two friends, Patricia and Merce, who, after an exciting few years of making and touring shows, hit rock bottom. The pair knew making theatre would be difficult – but when they have to dress up as flamingos in a shopping centre to make ends meet, they consider giving up. Can their dream of staging Waiting for Godot get them back on track?

Described as slapstick humour meets Beckett in a quest for life’s meaning and purpose, Nothing Happens (Twice) is brought to the stage by the creators and cast of the show, Patricia Rodriguez and Merce Ribot, co-founders of the award-winning and critically acclaimed Little Soldier Productions, renowned as one of the UK’s leading devising and physical comedy theatre companies.

Nothing Happens (Twice) is a funny, sometimes moving, exploration of companionship, co-dependency and motivation in the face of failure.

This is a Pick Your Price show meaning audiences can select a ticket price that works best for them, making a range of shows accessible. Ticket options start at just £6.
