Devoted parents old and new and anyone celebrating being child-free can enjoy The Scummy Mummies: Greatest Hits at Theatre Royal Winchester later this month.

Scummy Mummies, Ellie and Helen, take to the stage to mark a decade of scumminess – after years of touring their hit comedy show to sell-out audiences across the country.

For this anniversary show, they entertain with their most-loved songs, sketches and stand-up for a night that will make audiences laugh out loud and is guaranteed to make mums and dads feel normal about their parenting skills and child-free adults feel somewhat smug.

Helen Thorn and Ellie Gibson are known for their award-nominated podcast, Scummy Mummies with over 200 episodes, featuring the likes of Adrian Chiles, Jenny Colgan and Dr Ranj Singh, and covering subjects from mental health and politics to wine and sex.

The pair also have to their name a chart-topping book (Ellie is an award-winning journalist, Helen is a Sunday Times bestselling author). They’ve written for a wide range of national newspapers and women’s magazines, appeared on the likes of ITV’s Lorraine, and on radio, hosted events for everyone from English Heritage to Sony Playstation to the Royal College of Midwives, and worked with brands including Google, Sainsbury’s and TENA!

The Scummy Mummies: Greatest Hits will be at Theatre Royal Winchester from Tuesday 25 to Thursday 27 April. Recommended age: 18+. For more information or to book tickets visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
