No Limits cycling in Southampton for Mental Health Awareness Week 

Southampton-based young people’s support charity, No Limits, will be racking up the miles on a bike in Westquay Shopping Centre this Friday 19th May, for Mental Health Awareness Week. team of No Limits staff and volunteers are targeting 116 miles – the distance between all three of No Limits’ Safe Haven support groups for young people experiencing a mental health crisis, and back – across seven hours of cycling. 

In the last year, No Limits has supported 4,588 young people with emotional wellbeing – more than ever before. Anxiety, stress and low confidence were among common themes. 

 Lesley BestwickFundraising Manager, said “Young people face a lot of pressure, from themselves, their peers, education and workMore are coming to us, struggling with their mental health, than ever before. As a charity that supports on with a wide range of topics, we often find that even if their presenting issue is not emotional wellbeing, many young people end up getting support for it, as it intertwines with everything. Raising money ensures that we can help every young person that comes to us. 

 The cycle will be on Westquay ground floor from 10am – 5pm. Come along and have a cycle on the bike, supplied by Decathlon, give a cheer and donate to support young people in your community. You can follow  on social media @nolimitshelp for updates and links to donate.
