Writing Our Legacy join with Winchester Poetry Festival to bring Poetry Room to Winchester

Writing Our Legacy have joined forces with Winchester Poetry Festival to bring their popular Poetry Room to The ARC, Winchester on Saturday 3rd June 2023.

Poetry Room boasts a stellar line-up of the UK’s finest creatives, thinkers, and musicians all under one roof! Your hosts for the evening are the poet, writer, performer Akila Richards (pictured) and DJ Fever2Ray (African Night Fever). Special guests are scientist, writer and activist Jasmine Qureshi; British Iranian artist and writer Alinah Azadeh; Indian writer and poet Susmita Bhattacharya and up-and-coming poet Kaycee Hill.

Together this impressive panel will consider the big issues for the African, Caribbean, Asian and Global Majority, and provide a space where everyone is welcome.
