Preview: Dinosaur World Live, Mayflower Theatre, Southampton

Back at the Mayflower Theatre, Dinosaur World Live – the interactive children’s theatre show that brings dinosaurs to life on stage – returns on Tuesday 27 June.

Dinosaur World Live presents a host of impressive pre-historic creatures including every child’s favourite flesh-eating giant, the Tyrannosaurus Rex, along with a Giraffatitan, Microraptor, Segnosaurus and Triceratops.

The show introduces Miranda, daughter of paleontologists, who grew up surrounded by dinosaurs on a far-away island off the coast of South America.

She has brought her pre-historic pals to your local theatre and would love you to meet them.

Warning: some of these dinosaurs aren’t as docile as they seem!

Using stunning puppetry to bring remarkably life-like dinosaurs to the stage, Dinosaur World Live delivers an entertaining and educational live show that promises to delight the whole family.

Each performance is followed by a post-show meet and greet where audience members have the opportunity to meet some of the dinosaurs in person.

Heading out on its fifth UK tour, the cast includes: Selin Balcioğlu as Miranda, Rhea Locker-Marsh (Puppeteer / Understudy Miranda / Puppet Captain), Sharon Sze (Puppeteer / Puppet Tech), William Uden(Puppeteer), Nicholas Halliwell (Puppeteer), and Ross Lennon (Puppeteer).

Dino-lovers are urged to book fast before tickets become extinct!

Tickets for Dinosaur World Live (Tuesday 27 June 2023) are on sale at mayflower.org.uk or 02380 711811.
