The summer festival season rolls on. This weekend sees Let’s Rock, with headliners Soft Cell and the Boomtown Rats (pictured top) take over Southampton Common, while the Smoked and Uncut festival in the New Forest, featuring Kelis, Gabrielle, and DJ Harriet Rose.
Turner Sims presents its third year of Summer Nights, featuring a range of events from this week onwards, including its family fun day this weekend.
On stage, there’s an all-male version of The Mikado at Theatre Royal Winchester, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane is at The Mayflower– look out for our review coming soon.
There’s loads more going on, including live music, pub quizzes, free yoga on the common and a national Keep Our NHS Public day of action is being held on Wednesday, and includes an event in Southampton city centre.
