New Year’s Eve party and more at The Art House

The Art House in Southampton City Centre is inviting everyone to join them  for a laid back, fun, family friendly New Year’s Eve.
On Sunday 31 December (of course)  from 8.30pm  there will be an evening of food, music and more.
An organiser said: “Come and clap your hands, stamp your feet and make a joyful noise against capitalism.
All ages welcome. Vegan buffet included.”
Music on the night will feature The Guillotine Union Boys, Sarah Twist and more.
The Guillotine Union Boys play all manner of guitars in addition to mandolin and banjo creating a foot stomping hullballoo. Putting their own unique twist on anything from spiritual standards and folk classics through to modern bluegrass their message is strong; stir it up, join a union, work together to make things better. Expecting a rousing, rowdy, roof raiser of a gig to see in 2024.

Sarah Twist will be performing an interactive set as a sort of human jukebox. Request any song and she will Google the chords and play it – whether she knows it or not! Whatever happens, it is bound to end in chaos and hilarity.

Attendees are invited to dress as fancy as you like or come as you are.
