Preview: WestEnders, Theatre Royal Winchester

Musical theatre-goers can delight in an evening of the greatest songs from the West End’s top musicals with WestEnders at Theatre Royal Winchester on Saturday 3 February.

WestEnders features audience favourites from musicals including Phantom of the Opera, Evita, The Lion King, Mamma Mia, West End Story and Les Mis, to name a few – with costume changes to match the songs, making for an exciting evening of entertainment.

WestEnders was born out of a conversation between actresses Jill Nalder(It’s a Sin, Finding Your Feet) and Linda Jarvis (Aspects of Love) as they sat in their dressing room while performing in Les Miserables at the famous Palace Theatre in London. With fellow Les Mis cast members, Jon Osbaldeston (Fiddler on the Roof) and Frances Fry (Oliver!), and under the musical direction of West End conductor, Jae Alexander (42nd Street).

WestEnders is not a tribute show. It features the actual stars of the West End musicals, who, between them, have appeared in over 25 West End musicals; toured the UK; performed around the world on luxury cruise ships; and at corporate events and galas.

WestEnders will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Saturday 3 February at 7.30pm. For more information or to book tickets visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
