The Jesus Bolt charity gig at St Denys Church this weekend

Bristol band The Jesus Bolt will be playing a charity gig at St Denys Church, Southampton on Saturday, February 10th.

The Jesus Bolt – are Hazel Winter, formerly of the Blue Aeroplanes, and Gerard Starkie, formerly of Witness.

The duo plays indie rock blues and has been compared to PJ Harvey (with a sense of humour) jamming with Richard Ashcroft (without the ego).

The event is not ticketed but donations are welcomed, with funds raised going towards Centrepoint, St Mungos and the Society of St James.

Mediterranean Food will be available from 7pm, with live music starting at 8.30pm.

There will not be a bar, and attendees are invited to bring their own drinks.
