There is a growing hub of authors, poets, and storytellers in Portswood, Southampton, which independent bookshop October Books has always celebrated and championed. And it will be continuing that tradition it will be back with its open mic night on Friday, February 16th from 6.30pm.
Whether you’re a poet, playwright, essayist, or novelist, reading your own work or someone else’s, all are welcome!
The event is a fundraiser for October Books to ensure it offering a stream of events throughout the year.
