By Mabel Wellman.
On the 3rd May, the Hampshire Trans+ Network organised a protest in Winchester. This was to protest against the recent Supreme Court ruling which has excluded trans women from the definition of a woman in UK law. The fallout of which has ranged from trans women seeing themselves banned from public restrooms and facilities in work places, to the recent banning of trans women from all leagues of football by the FA.
The protest of approximately 50 people was clapped and cheered along whilst it proceeded down Winchester High Street, and safely reached Abbey Gardens, where a number of speeches were heard from allies and members of the trans community.
