Popular entertainers, Liza Pulman and Joe Stilogoe, come together for an evening of spectacular music, comedy and song in Pulman & Stilgoe: A Couple of Swells at Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 26 June.
The critically acclaimed Liza Pulman and Joe Stilgoe join forces for a glittering evening of classics and hidden gems from the likes of Irving Berlin, Paul McCartney, Billy Joel, Leonard Bernstein and more; plus, new songs written specially for the show.
The pair bring to the stage exquisite vocals and dazzling piano playing, humour and musicianship, to make old songs sound like new and new songs sound like old favourites – sharing the same musical and theatrical chemistry as Dudley Moor and Julie Andrews.
Singer, Pulman – also an actress and comedienne (as one-third of the award-winning comedy trio, Fascinating Aida) – has performed with the likes of Glyndebourne Opera, in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang with Michael Ball, and worldwide from New York to Australia with Fascinating Aida; while singer, songwriter and pianist, Stilgoe, has released nine albums, topped the UK Jazz Chart, performed at the Royal Albert Hall and for the likes of The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh for their 70th wedding anniversary at Windsor Palace.
A Couple of Swells is an evening of old-fashioned glamour from two modern-day musical greats, guaranteed to delight and entertain.
