Fancy slipping and sliding your way through a new family fun run that’s coming to Fordingbridge this summer?
Wessex Cancer Support is hosting Wet N Wild, an aqua assault course featuring inflatable obstacles, a foam tunnel, water jets, bubbles and colour clouds.
Held at Jubilee Camping on Saturday 2 August, Wet N Wild is open to families, friends and corporate teams.
“We’re really excited about this, as it promises to be the perfect fun event for the summer,” said Lorraine White, Interim Head of Community and Events Fundraising.
“There are obstacles to overcome, plus we will have water jets, foam and colour clouds all thrown in too. One thing’s for sure – you WILL get wet!
“Gather your friends, family or colleagues and walk, dance or run your way over the finish line.”
There will be two start time options – 11am and 12pm – and all finishers will receive a special Wet N Wild medal.
Teams of over three people will receive a 20 percent discount on the entry fee, while anyone who raises more than £100 by Wednesday 2 July will become a ‘Star Fundraiser’, enabling them to claim a free event T-shirt. Camping discounts are also available to participants.
Money raised will help Wessex Cancer Support provide free, local and personalised emotional support to anyone affected by cancer in Hampshire, Dorset and the Isle of Wight. To sign up for Wet N Wild, visit: www.wessexcancer.org.uk.
