Audiences are invited to an evening with former MP, Vince Cable, at Theatre Royal Winchester on Friday 27 June.
The retired politician, who was the Leader of the Liberal Democrats and Secretary of State for Business Innovation and Skills, will speak to journalist and broadcaster, Matt Stadlen, about his life in and out of politics.
The Rt Hon Sir Cable was MP for Twickenham, but also worked in the Kenya Treasury and as Chief Economist for Shell; is an author of books on political and economic matters; a visiting professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science; a director of a company, which is creating a hydrogen refuelling network (as part of the net zero economy); he is a husband, father, grandfather, a keen cyclist and hiker; and proud recipient of a 10/10 from Len and Craig on the BBC’s Xmas edition of Strictly Come Dancing!
Following the talk between Cable and Stadlen, there will be a post-show Q&A.
