National running group Cool Runnings UK is inviting people in Southampton to join a social run in celebration of World Mental Health Day on Thursday, October 10. One of the aims of the run is to highlight how exercise can help relieve stress and lift out mental health.
There is no need to book onto the run – you can just turn up at 7.30pm at the Bellemoor, 250 Hill Lane, Southampton and join in the 5K run, aimed at all ability levels. The session will be led by England Athletic Mental Health Champions and qualified coaches. It will be followed by social drinks/food at the Bellemoor Tavern.
