Southampton has Christmas all wrapped up this year, with theatre shows designed to entertain all the family – from babies to the grandparents!

Second Star to the Right – a 45 minute show made especially for young children and babies at MAST Mayflower Studios – is an enchanting theatrical experience that’s filled with colour, light and fairies. Little ones can snuggle up with their grown-ups to travel through the stars and wonder at this magical sensory experience. Performances are all relaxed and baby friendly, and take place in the daytime from Friday 10 December until Christmas Eve.

Peter Pan – An Awfully Big Musical Adventure is a treat for all ages and promises to take families on a magical journey with MAST’s very first Christmas youth production. Performed by a cast of more than 50 talented local youngsters, the show is an action-packed adventure, adapted from JM Barrie’s wonderful story and full of pop and film songs you’ll know and love. Fly away to Neverland from 18 December until New Year’s Eve.

Mayflower Theatre’s Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, takes on this classic tale of rags-to-riches, with Craig Revel Horwood as the wicked stepmother and Debbie McGee as the fairy godmother. Packed with all of the traditional pantomime ingredients audiences expect, Cinderella features laugh out loud comedy, stunning scenery, beautiful costumes and plenty of boos and hisses. Join Cinders as she outwits her wicked step-sisters and meets her dashing Prince Charming from 10 December 2021 until 2 January 2022.
