The event saw a colourful march through the city, from Queen’s Park to Guildhall Square, where the family-friendly festivities included entertainment, with performances from local up and coming band ‘genre-queer trans punks’ Hunting Hearts, who also played at Southampton People’s Pride Party in the Park earlier this summer, as well as rock band Our Propaganda, Ru Paul’s Drag Race Season 3’s Queen Elektra Fence and Ella Vaday and season 1 winner The Vivienne.

There was also a market square, children’s attractions such as trampolines and much more at the event, which attracted thousands of visitors.
