What’s the cut of for wishing people a happy New Year? Whatever it is, In Common would like to wish you one, and to say that if one of your resolutions was to Do More Stuff or words to that effect, or just if you’re looking for something different to do, here are the local listings to help you do just that.
As always, there’s a wide variety of things to do, from national tours of award-winning shows – My Fair Lady at Mayflower Theatre (click here for a preview) – to community groups such as the free drop in group for adults at St James’ Park community room (Mondays and Wednesdays, 11am-4pm, where you can take part in crafts, games or chat, while having a hot drink and a biscuit (visit the Friends of St James’ Park Facebook page for more information, or just turn up during opening times).
If you need some support or advice with rented accommodation or other matters, Positive Money and Southampton Tenants Union’s stall on Thursday in Southampton may be able to help (click here for more information).
