Preview: Tales from Acorn Wood, Theatre Royal Winchester

Little ones who love lift-the-flap stories can enjoy Julia Donaldson’s beloved Tales from Acorn Wood brought to life at Theatre Royal Winchester from Monday 3 April.

Based on the favourite stories by the popular children’s author, and illustrator Axel Scheffler, Tales from Acorn Wood features characters, Fox, Rabbit, Rat, Pig, Hen and Postman Bear losing socks, keeping others awake, playing hide-and-seek and planning surprises.

Brought to the stage by Norwell Lapley Productions – one of the country’s leading independent production companies who specialise in dramatizing children’s literature, including Dear Zoo Live and Dear SantaTales from Acorn Wood is a show packed full of toe-tapping songs and puppetry and is perfect for children of all ages.
