There’s a huge variety of things to choose from in and around Southampton this week. On the 13th Pride and Honour Wrestling, which aims to be a family-friendly event, comes to the City’s Empire Hall. The evening is a fundraising event for People’s Pride Southampton, who hold events in the city throughout the year. There’s more fun for everyone to be had at Sholing Valley Spring Fayre at the weekend. Meanwhile, Friends of St James Park are hosting Jim Chorley from SoCo Music Project in the park’s community room on Wednesday afternoon for the first in a series of fun and social weekly drop in music-making sessions.

On stage, Hidden Stories, telling the stories of Ruth Ellis and Edith Thompson comes to Hanger Farm Arts Centre (pictured). Family entertainment comes to Theatre Royal Winchester in the form of Around the World in 80 Days – look out for a review coming to In Common soon.
