Victorious Festival Announces Kids Arena Line-Up

Victorious Festival – the UK’s largest metropolitan festival which takes place from 25 to 27 August on Southsea Common – has announced its exciting line-up of family-friendly entertainment for this year’s Kids Arena.

Victorious’ Kids Arena is a mini festival packed with activities to keep families and little ones entertained, including live performances, adventure activities and meet and greets with your kid’s favourite characters.

Combined with an incredible music line-up including Jamiroquai, Kasabian, Mumford & Sons and Alt-J, Victorious remains one of the UK’s best-loved family-friendly festivals.

Who said panto was just for Christmas?

Leading the Friday line up of this year’s Kids Arena is local theatrical royalty, Pompey Panto, who will be performing Dame Nellie Saves Panto – a Summertime production by Portsmouth-based Kings Theatre.

Saturday’s headliner, Pop Kids, are set to host a summer sing-a-long for all the family with its Big Summer Bash, a show jam packed with music for all ages, from Disney classics to chart toppers!

World-class beatboxer, SK Shlomo, who’s worked with the likes of Björk and Ed Sheeran are bringing their critically acclaimed Shlomo’s Beatbox Adventure to the festival for a headline Sunday show.

The performance will offer families an interactive showcase of the fundamentals of beatboxing, right through to the most unbelievable and mind-boggling of sounds.

The fun doesn’t stop here with meet and greets across the weekend, with Sonic The Hedgehog, family favourite, Bluey, plus a host of wild roaming dinosaurs!

For little adventurers, the Lidl Mudder Zone will give kids a taste of the legendary Tough Mudder event, whilst little ones can run wild in the Action Blast Nerf Arena, and work on their sporting skills with Sport 4 Kids.

Elsewhere, the festival performers of the future will get the chance at a festival performance with Kids Karaoke and learn how to rock out with Rock School.

There is tons to do, with Lego stations, jedi training, princess performances, baby raves, bouncy castles, colouring in and art walls and so much more!

The festival is well-equipped for families with pavements and roads connecting the stages, and fantastic family facilities including a baby changing and feeding tent, sponsored by Lidl.

Festival-goers can expect the biggest and best in live music, local food and drink stalls, the Kids Arena, clothes, and craft traders – all in a picturesque location overlooking the Solent!
