Southampton International Boat Show is back

Now in its 54th year Britain’s largest festival of boats is back and bigger than ever.

Southampton International Boat Show returns from Friday 15 to Sunday 24 September 2023, with something for everyone interested in life on the water.

And, this year’s event promises to be show stopping, helping everybody to get the most out of life on the water with visitors  able to experience some incredible new features alongside the shows most popular attractions.

The Watersports Zone is back and will host a whole selection of exciting kit, with guidance from the best experts in the business.

From surfboards to water-skis, whether you are looking to learn something new or are a seasoned wave expert, you can get your hands on state-of-the-art equipment, trends, and unlimited board sports action.

From stand-up paddleboarding and exhilarating speedboat rides to cruising the Solent, the On the Water Zone allows visitors to get wet if they want to in an action-packed area built for the whole family.

There is Try-a-Boat, where visitors can sail a yacht, take the throttle of a motorboat, or feel the power of RIB blasting around Southampton water. Whether you’re a complete beginner or seasoned pro, thinking about buying your first boat or simply looking for an adventure, qualified instructors are on hand throughout.

The on the water action doesn’t end there, with Get-A-float you can try your hand at single or double handed dinghy sailing or grab a friend and try out the double kayaks.

This incredible event is the biggest marine showcase in the UK, and one of Europe’s largest events. With hundreds of exhibitors, over 650 craft on display plus a purpose-built marina, fabulous food and plenty of family entertainment, there is something to do at every corner.

Whether this is your first dip in the ocean, or you have mastered the boating world for some time, it’s a great day out.

Not only does it showcase some of the best boats in the industry, but Southampton International Boat Show also offers more live entertainment and music than ever before, interactive attractions and sensational food and drink. Visit the show’s Quarterdeck Bar & Restaurant, and the longstanding but newly refurbished Guinness bar to whet your whistle along the way.

You will be surrounded by beautiful craft, from restored classics to the latest boat models and first of its kind launches and as always, up to two children go free with every adult ticket, making it the perfect event for the entire family.
