Artists reunite in aid of a good cause at Hampshire Open Studios

Local landscape artist Charlotte Rose is joining forces with Eastleigh-based Donna McGhie in her studio in Winchester, as part of Hampshire Open Studios from 19th – 28th August.

This year, visitors will be able to unleash their creativity on a blank canvas that will be added to throughout the event. Anything goes! The final work will be donated to The Royal Papworth Hospital Charity.

Donna McGhie runs Art 4 A Heart workshops which raise money for the Royal Papworth Hospital Charity as a way of saying thank you after her husband received a heart transplant in 2016.

This is in addition to original landscape paintings, greetings cards and prints, together with Powertex sculptural work. Watch Charlotte paint, and try your hand at making a brooch with Donna’s taster sessions.

Charlotte says “I’m really excited to welcome Donna back to the studio, to discuss art with visitors, and to see what they create!’

The studio is open both weekends, as well as Monday 22nd and Friday 26th August, or get in touch to make an appointment at another time. For all details, see hampshireopenstudios.org.uk/artists/winchester/item/charlotte-rose
