Fans of the world’s most iconic guitar are invited to celebrate the Fender Stratocaster at Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 19 October.

50 Years of Fender: The Stratocaster Story tells the story of the world’s most recognisable guitar by spanning the instrument’s five most important decades of its 70-year history.

It showcases the songs and guitar players that made it a staple of modern music making. The show will feature music from the likes of Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, Buddy Holly, Bryan Adams and more – leaving audiences dancing in the aisles and guitar enthusiasts mesmerised.

The event is presented by lead guitarist and vocalist, David Knight, who studied performance industries and law and now lectures audio engineering; performs with 50 Years of Fender, the Dire Straits tribute show, dS:uk, and the Phil Collins tribute, Seriously Collins; and produces local artists in Southampton.

This unique show is presented by charismatic musicians, expert guitarists and a phenomenal vocalist whose passion for the music and instrument shine through in the stories of the guitar and performance of the music.

50 Years of Fender: The Stratocaster Story will be at Theatre Royal Winchester on Thursday 19 October at 7.30pm. For more information or to book tickets visit: theatreroyalwinchester.co.uk or call 01962 840 440.
