‘Cash on Delivery’, a farce by Michael Cooney, is the latest show from popular amateur company Maskers Theatre, based off Emsworth Road in Shirley, Southampton.
The play opens on March 18th and runs until the 23rd.
Eric Swan’s life comes tumbling down around him following a phone call to the Department of Social Security.
Eric’s been fiddling the system since he lost his job a few years ago, inventing a string of fake identities to claim benefits for. Now he’s trying to get out of it, but his efforts to back out of his scheme backfire when the benefits inspector comes knocking…
Can he lie his way out of trouble, or is this the end of his scheming?
