A Southampton community group is working to create the only enabled allotment specially designed for residents with disabilities and special needs in the city.
They are holding a community action day tomorrow, Sunday, September 3rd, from 11am to 4pm at st Denys station.
All are welcome. They need help with creating more specially designed planters and ordinary planters,,outdoor seating/storage for their yard area, lots of painting & much more.
They also welcome donations of paint;( full or part full /any type, colour) wood preservative, durable wood,hand tools,brushes for painting & sweeping,outdoor tables & chairs,anything useful for our potential community cafe cutlery, plates etc.
